MedicBank Acceptable Use Policy

MedicBank is committed to maintaining a safe, professional, and respectful environment for all users of our platform, including healthcare professionals, staffing agencies, healthcare facilities, and public reviewers. This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) describes rules and guidelines for user behavior and content on MedicBank. All users must comply with this AUP as a condition of using our Service. Failure to do so constitutes a material breach of the Terms of Use and can result in account suspension or termination and other consequences.

By using MedicBank, you agree that you will not engage in any of the prohibited activities described below. These rules apply to all content you contribute (profile information, messages, job postings, reviews, etc.) and all interactions or technical actions on the platform.

1. Illegal or Harmful Use

• No Violation of Law: Do not use MedicBank to violate any local, national, or international laws or regulations.
• No Criminal Activity: Prohibited activities include human trafficking, drug distribution, fraud, and data theft.
• No Harm to Minors: Do not exploit or harm minors. The platform is not for use by individuals under 16.

2. User Content Standards

• No Inappropriate or Offensive Content: No obscene, pornographic, violent, or excessively profane content.

• No Hate or Harassment: No hateful, discriminatory, or harassing content.

• No Defamation or False Information: Reviews must be truthful and based on firsthand experience.

• No Personal Data of Others: Do not post personal data (e.g. full names, contact info, health details).

• No Sensitive Data Uploads: Avoid uploading Social Security numbers, medical records, or financial passwords.

• Accurate Profile and Listings: Represent yourself and your organization truthfully.

• Review Guidelines:

  • Only review facilities you’ve interacted with directly.
  • Be respectful and constructive.
  • Avoid conflicts of interest.
  • Fake, defamatory, or spammy reviews will be removed.

• User Content License and Moderation: By posting, you grant us rights to use your content per the Terms. Inappropriate content may be moderated or removed.

3. Prohibited Conduct and Uses

• No Spam or Unsolicited Communications: No mass messaging or advertising without permission.

• No Commercial Use Except as Intended: Do not use MedicBank for unauthorized marketing or promotions.

• No Platform Circumvention: Do not bypass MedicBank’s processes or fees.

• No Impersonation or Account Sharing: Only use your own account. No impersonation or shared logins.

• Cybersecurity Prohibitions:

  • No unauthorized access or hacking.
  • No service disruption or malware.
  • No scraping, bots, or automated abuse.
  • No framing or phishing using MedicBank’s brand.
  • No reverse engineering of the platform.

• No Misuse of Platform Data: Use data only for its intended purpose and handle it lawfully and securely.

• No Interference with Others’ Use: No harassment, false rumors, or manipulating review systems.

4. Enforcement Actions

MedicBank may take the following actions for violations:

• Content Removal
• Warning Notices
• Account Suspension
• Account Termination
• Fee or Benefit Forfeiture
• Legal Action
• Cost Reimbursement
• Reporting to Authorities or Others

Appeals are allowed but final decisions rest with MedicBank.

5. Reporting Violations

• Use in-platform reporting tools or email support@medicbankapp.com.
• Provide detailed information (usernames, screenshots, etc.).
• Your identity will be kept confidential when possible.
• Abuse of the reporting system is also a violation.

6. Guidance for Specific User Roles

Candidates/Freelancers:

• Be honest and professional.
• Respect privacy and facility rules.

Agencies:

• Represent candidates truthfully.
• Keep communications transparent and on-platform.

Facilities/Employers:

• Post legitimate jobs.
• Do not circumvent the platform.

Public Reviewers:

• Share personal experiences only.
• Avoid naming staff negatively.
• Remain civil and constructive in dialogues.

7. Additional Terms

• This AUP may be updated; users will be notified of significant changes.
• Continued use of MedicBank signifies agreement to these terms.
• This policy is part of the MedicBank Terms of Use.
